🔺 Bridges To Victory. If you’re going to pick a time for a career night, senior night against your rival to spark a comeback might be at the top of that list.

Enter Jalen Bridges.

In his last game in Waco, Bridges went shot for shot with Texas’ Max Abrams and sparked a 21-2 second half run to lead the 11th-ranked Bears to a thrilling 93-85 victory over Texas on Monday night.

The Green & Gold have now won three straight and five of seven heading into Saturday’s regular season finale in Lubbock.

As one of five seniors honored prior to the game, Bridges wanted to head out in a big way and did so with a career-high 32 points, including six three-pointers, while also grabbing nine rebounds.

Fellow senior RayJ Dennis had 16 points and eight assists, while Ja’Kobe Walter added 15 on the night.

🔺 Road Warriors. For some, life on the road isn’t easy.

The BU women’s tennis team isn’t among that group as the Bears rolled to two victories away from home this past weekend, picking up critical Big 12 victories over Cincinnati (5-2) and West Virginia (4-0).

With the two wins, BU has now won six of its past seven matches heading into today’s showdown with #23 Arizona State at the Hurd Tennis Center.

🔺 Shooting Star. The star you see flyin’ through the sky? It might just be former BU standout Keyonte George.

The NBA rookie is surging for the Utah Jazz, posting his third 30+ point performance over the weekend in a tough 126-120 road loss at Miami over the weekend.

Over the past six games, he is averaging 20.0 points, 6.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds, while shooting 43.6-percent from long range.

He currently ranks fifth among rookies with 12.2 points per game and first in assists, averaging 4.5 per game.
