🎙 SIC ‘EM POD WITH COACH NICKI

Women’s Basketball at Baylor University has seen tremendous success over the years, and thanks to Head Coach Nicki Collen, it feels as if that level of success is going to continue for a long time.

In her first 2 years at Baylor, Coach Nicki has led the program to back-to-back 20-plus win seasons, back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances, and already has a BIG12 title under her belt. Now, in year 3, all of the pieces are coming together.

She is a mother, a former WNBA coach of the year, a relentless competitor, and is proud to be the head women’s basketball coach at Baylor University.

🔺 Bridges To Victory. One of the best parts of this year’s Baylor’s men’s basketball team is that you just never know who’s night it’s going to be.

Is it Ja’Kobe’s night? Is it RayJ’s night? Is it Langston tonight?

On Tuesday, the bridges led BU to a top-20 victory, Jalen Bridges that is. The senior poured in a season-high 25 points to help the Bears get past a gritty 18th-ranked BYU squad, 81-72, at a raucous Foster Pavilion.

Bridges scored 17 of his 25 in the second half and helped seal the victory with two free-throws with under a minute to play.

The game featured eight ties and 16 lead changes, but a layup by Jayden Nunn with less than 10 minutes to play gave BU the lead that they would never relinquish.

🔺 Visiting Dorothy and Toto. Off to a program record start of 14-0 (matching the 40-0 undefeated season), the Baylor women’s hoops is taking its show on the road.

Tonight kicks off back-to-back road games for the Green & Gold as the Bears look for their 20th straight win over Kansas.

Baylor is currently one of three undefeated teams in the country, along with #1 South Carolina and #2 UCLA.
