🔺 To The Wire. Rivalry games are never easy. It doesn’t matter what year, what location, what time. Every single time it’s a battle.
That was once again the case on Thursday night as the Baylor futbol squad battled to the very end, but came up just short in a 2-1 home loss to local rival SMU.
Ashley Merrill scored with just under seven minutes to play to bring the Bears within one, but the equalizer couldn’t be found as BU dropped to 3-2-1 on the season.
Next up? A Sunday evening date with Abilene Christian at Betty Lou.
