🏈 GAME WEEK

It’s Go Time. It may have only been nine months, but man did it seem like forever.

We’re not a big fan of this waiting game thing.

But the good news is that we’ve finally made it. Game week is here again!

What’s the best way to prepare? We got you covered.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Coach Speak. “Coach wants to talk to you.”

It’s a phrase that has sent chills down many athletes’ spine.

But don’t worry, this time it’s a good thing as the Annual Baylor Coach’s Show is set to return this Wednesday, August 30.

The show will run from 7-8 p.m. every Wednesday throughout the fall, airing live from Rudy's BBQ in Waco. The Coach's Show will also feature special guests throughout the fall, including other Baylor head coaches for the first half of the show.
 
The show will open on Aug. 30 and also include live shows at Rudy's on Sept. 6, Sept. 13, Sept. 20, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Oct. 11, Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8, Nov. 15 and Nov. 22.

Kicking us off? No better than Coach McGuyre and Coach Aranda! Two of the three coaches that have home games this week!

All shows will air live on the flagship station of Baylor Athletics, ESPN Central Texas, KRZI 1660 AM/92.3 FM and online at www.listentexas.com or www.centexsportsfan.com.

🔺 Lacin’ Em Up. Who doesn’t a good night run? Especially in this crazy heat!

No better way for the Baylor cross country squads to open up the 2023 campaign than a good ole night run as they they hit the trails at the UIW Twilight meet.

The Bears will toe the line a little after 8 pm CST on Friday night and start their journey towards the Big 12 Championship and eventually the NCAA Regionals and National Meets.

🔺 A Deeper Look. Now that school is back in session, you all have some studying to do!

What, you didn’t think the students were the only one learning this year, did you?

We’ve got some new Big 12 joining us this year and more on the way! That means plenty more opportunities for the Green & Gold faithful to cheer on the Bears in new, exciting places and even more alums to check us out!

The blistering heat wasn’t going to stop our awesome Annual Meet the Bears event at McLane this past Saturday! It was so awesome seeing so many members of our Baylor family out supporting the Green and Gold!

Smiles were seen, laughs were had, autographs were captured and many, many pictures were taken!

Gear Up, Baylor Fam! The brand new This is Bear Country Game Day Collection was unveiled this week, and we’ve got something for everyone!

Baylor Athletics is warmly welcoming both dedicated fans and newcomers alike to the heart of Texas this fall. In anticipation of a football season featuring eight home games and exciting new Conference matchups, the University has collaborated with the Baylor Bookstore to unveil this limited collection celebrating Baylor Game Days in Bear Country.

Big Swifty Guy. We’re starting to believe that Coach Aranda is a big Swifty. Or maybe more of an Earth, Wind and Fire guy.

Either way, we know one thing. He LOVES September.
