🐻 CAMPING WITH THE BEARS
On our last day of Bear Camp, Learning Support presented on ethical uses of AI, the Study Cycle, & Learning Styles
We ended with a current student-athlete panel whose members provided sound advice for navigating Baylor as a freshman 🤓

Normally, we wouldn’t recommend camping around Bears.
But these Bears are quite awesome.
This week, the SACE (Student-Athlete Center For Excellence) wrapped up their annual Bear camp for incoming student-athletes, filled with orientation, panels, games and much, much more!
Welcome Home, Bears!
⚾️ FINE NINE
Two things we don’t recommend for the Baylor baseball squad.
Don’t throw fastballs down the middle and don’t battle them in the classroom.
For the 9️⃣th straight year, the Bears received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.
In the 2023-24 academic year, BU posted a 3.31 cumulative GPA as a team, its highest since 2020-21. The Bears turned in a 3.25 fall GPA and logged a 3.28 GPA in the spring, with 13 players earning Academic All-Big 12 honors.
🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 37 DAYS
Number of the Day: 37 (+1)
Ok, we tweaked the rules a bit here, but we wanted to highlight
our guy Monaray Baldwin as he returns as the Bears leading
receiver with 38 (37+1) catches last fall.
Baldwin led the team in catches and yards (623), while finishing
with the second-most receiving TDs on the squad as well.
🎟 YOU PICK IT!
This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.
The new “You Pick It” mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.
The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games.
🎙 SIC ’EM POD: BAYLEY HUMPHREY (PT. II)
On this week’s episode, John Morris is handing off the mic to
Baylor Athletics’ Justin Hoff, who recently caught up with
Acrobatics & Tumbling’s Bayley Humphrey.
The new Baylor graduate is fresh off of a 4th straight
national championship, and is getting us up to speed on an
incredibly busy summer and life after college.
🙌 OLYMPIC BEARS
At least one Baylor Bear has brought home the gold in seven of
the last eight Summer Olympics. What do you say we make it
eight of the past nine?
Seven different Bears will look to extend that run at the
2024 Olympics in Paris, which kicks off this weekend.
Those Bears will be representing four different nations: Brittney Griner (basketball) and Avery Skinner (volleyball) for Team USA; current Baylor student-athletes Nathaniel Ezekiel (400m hurdles) and Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi (javelin) in track & field for Nigeria; John Peers (men’s tennis – doubles) and Kristy Wallace (basketball) for Australia; and Nuni Omot (basketball) for South Sudan. Baylor track and field head coach Michael Ford will also be in Paris as men’s sprints/hurdles coach for Team USA.
🗓 GOT PLANS?
