📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Diaper Dandy. She’s AWESOME BABY!

As highly-touted as Kyndal Stowers was coming to Waco, the hype is REAL.

Stowers had 77 kills on the week across four matches with a .389 hitting percentage. She led the league in kills and was second in kills per set (5.13) and points per set (5.43). She had three matches on the week with 10 or more kills and led the team in kills, attempts and points for all four matches.

🔺 20/20 Week. We need you not once, but TWICE this week at Ferrell.

Clear the calendars, throw on your best Green and Gold and we’ll see you at Ferrell.

🔺 Thursday Night Futbol. Gold Out. Rally Towels. Kona Ice. Posters.

Oh yeah, and the 17th-ranked Longhorns visit Betty Lou this week when Baylor’s women’s soccer squad opens up Big 12 play at home on Thursday night.

The Bears have won three of their past four matches, including a dominating 7-0 win over Abilene Christian this past Sunday.

We need you this week! BE THERE!

🏈  JETS BEARS VS. SHARKS

No, we won’t be playing out the West Side Story at McLane Stadium this weekend, but we will be welcoming the Sharks to Waco.

For the first time in program history, Baylor will be welcoming Long Island University to campus for a third straight home game.

The Bears defensive unit will look to stay strong after going toe-to-toe with a potent Utah offense this past weekend. BU’s defense has had three sacks and six TFLs in each of the first two games of the season.

🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA

Two-For-One Special. Less than a month into her first collegiate season, Kyndal Stowers is achieving rarified air.

This week, she went 2-for-1 with the Big 12 Offensive and Rookie of the Week honors. It marked the first time that had been done in the same week at any Big 12 school since 2021 and the first time since 2017 by a Bear.

Which BU standout was the last Bear to earn both weekly accolades in the same week?

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Yossiana Pressley.

The BU legend was an absolute force from the time she stepped on campus.

During her freshman season (2017), Pressley won dual Big 12 weekly awards not once, not twice, not three, but FOUR different times (Oct. 30, Nov. 6, Nov. 13 and Nov. 27).

🐻 You’re halfway through the week! Enjoy your Wednesday!
