What A COMEBACK!

It’s one of those games that Baylor fans will be talking about for years to come and man, we can’t talk about it enough!

Facing a 35-7 deficit with just under four minutes to play in the third quarter, the Bears never stopped believing and staged an epic comeback, capped off by a 25-yard game-winning field goal by Isaiah Hankins to capture the 36-35 victory.

🔺 The Kids Are Quite Alright. Don’t doubt the youth.

The youngsters of the BU women’s soccer squad came up clutch on Sunday with a two sophomores and two freshmen connecting on goals to help the Bears claim a critical 2-0 road win over Kansas State.

Less than seven minutes into the game, Hannah Boughton fed Hannah Augustyn for her first goal of the season and just before halftime the freshmen duo of Callie Conrad and Theresa McCullough connecting for 2-0 lead that the Bears would hold on for their sixth shutout of the season.

🔺 Cyclone Split. Best thing about a back-to-back series? You get a chance to respond if night one doesn’t go your way.

Case in point? The BU volleyball squad who dropped a tough five-set battle to Iowa State on Saturday before sweeping the Cyclones on Sunday in front of a national TV audience on ESPN.

In Sunday’s win, freshman Kyndal Stowers ripped off 18 kills, while Lauren Briseño led the defensive effort yet again with 15 digs.

🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA

Cardiac Bears. Ask anyone in that Baylor locker room and not one of them will say that they thought the game was over.

And that belief was what powered the Bears to an improbable, epic comeback win at UCF on Saturday evening.

Prior to Saturday’s 28-point comeback, Baylor had comeback from 21 on three different occasions in program history.

The last time occurred in 2014 against TCU, another one in 2011 at Kanas and the first time came in 1980.

Who was that 1980 comeback against?
