🔺 That’s Our Guy. We’ve got a special one folks.

We’ve known that for years and over the past few, the whole world is recognizing it too.

This week, Head Coach Scott Drew was named one of five winners of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Guardians of the Game Award for Leadership.

In his 21st year with the Bears, Drew has orchestrated one of the greatest rebuilds in college basketball history, culminating with BU's first Big 12 and National Championship in 2021.

That steady hand on the wheel for the last 21 years has built Baylor into a true college basketball power, as the Bears are the winningest power-five program over the last five years, and the only school in the nation to have three-straight top-16 picks in the NBA draft.

🔺 Filling Up The Punch Card. Another game. Another gem from the circle for BU softball.

This time, it was senior Aliyah Binford, who matched a season-high for the Bears with 11 strikeouts in Wednesday’s 4-1 victory over visiting Penn State.

With the victory, the Bears have now won 12 straight entering this weekend’s highly anticipated Big 12 opener as #6 Oklahoma State comes to town for a three-game set.

Over the past 35 innings of work, BU hurlers have allowed just three earned runs, while striking out 45 opposing batters and scattering 24 hits.

🔺 Devil Went Down In Waco. The weather is heating up and so is the BU women’s tennis squad.

Winning six of their past seven matches, the Bears rose to #32 in the national rankings heading into Tuesday’s showdown with top-30 Arizona State.

Let’s make it seven of eight as the Green & Gold grinded out a hard-fought 4-2 home win over the Sun Devils.

👏 WHAT IT’S REALLY ALL ABOUT!

This past weekend, the Baylor men’s squad picked up two huge wins.

We may have found the secret behind the success!

Last week, the Bears had the pleasure of welcoming Special Olympics of Texas’ athlete Ella Hedricks to practice and to hang out for the afternoon with the squad.

🎙 SIC ‘EM POD WITH YVES MISSI

Baylor freshman Yves Missi has one of the most fascinating journeys in all of college basketball.

After picking up a basketball for the first time less than 5 years ago, Yves is now one of the top freshmen in the entire country. Now, as his first year comes to a close, Yves hopes that he can leave a lasting impact on the program.

🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA
