🐻 And much, much more!
🏀 HERE TO STAY
Less than a week into the college hoops offseason, the biggest news may have come yesterday morning.
🎙 INSIDE BAYLOR SPORTS
April 12th Edition:
He’s Here To Stay
On today's episode we are celebrating Baylor Men's Basketball's
Head Coach Scott Drew and his decision to stay at Baylor
and continue building what he has been for nearly 2 decades.
We'll break down what this means for the future of Baylor hoops,
and the fallout effects this has on college basketball as a whole.
📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Caged Cougars. A breakout offensive performance and a stellar effort on the mound led the Baylor baseball team to a series-opening win at BYU on Thursday evening.
Enzo Apodaca and Cole Posey both pounded out three hits to lead a 14-hit attack, which was a season high in conference play for the Bears, who caged the Cougars, 9-2.
On the mound, Mason Marriott and Ethan Calder combined to allow just five hits and two runs over the first eight innings, while Drew Leach came in to shut things down in the ninth for the Green & Gold.
🔺 Host With The Most. Everything is bigger in Texas, right?
Even the Championships.
BU received some exciting news on Thursday afternoon as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced that Baylor and SMU will co-host the 2025 and 2026 ITA Division I Men's National Team Indoor Championship, as part of the new format.
The new regional hosting format will see play split between two host schools within 200 miles of each other with the aim of enhancing the in-person viewing experience, the student-athlete experience and the broadcast production throughout the entire event.
It’s more than a game!
We enjoyed giving back to the Waco community with a free clinic!

🔺 This Means More. Sure championships are nice, but this, this is what it’s all about.
As the Baylor women’s soccer team has been busy getting work in to prepare for their fall season, they recently enjoyed a night with the community as they spent an evening with some of the local youth on the pitch!
Great job ladies!
🎥 FACE-TO-FAITH: JOHNNY KEEFER
One of the most prestigious weeks throughout the golf year is underway in Augusta this week as the Masters teed off yesterday.
This Bear is hoping to be there one day and with the way he’s playing this spring, that goal may not be far off.

A pair of 11-2 and Big 12 Conference Championship teams will be celebrated during the upcoming 2024 Baylor Football season, as the Bears plan to recognize student-athletes from the 2013 and 2014 teams.
On Nov. 2 when Baylor plays TCU at McLane Stadium, the program will commemorate the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Conference Championship teams.
