When graduate transfer RayJ Dennis stepped foot on Baylor’s campus in the summer of 2023, he knew he had found a new home.

After being born with a club foot and spending the first 2 years of his life in leg casts, RayJ knows what it means to face and overcome true adversity.

Now as a key starter for the nationally ranked Baylor Bears, RayJ wants to continue to defy the odds and accomplish even more.

The full 2024 Baylor football schedule was unveiled this week, which includes six home dates at McLane Stadium for the Green & Gold.

For the BU men’s hoops team, they’ve battled the best in the country to the wire over and over again. Now, they’re ready to turn the tides.

The Bears, who have lost three straight, including two OT games, are back in action tonight as they travel to Big 12 newcomer, UCF.

🔺 Making The List. And the resume continues to grow.

Freshman sensation Ja’Kobe Walter has turned heads all season long for the Baylor men’s hoops squad and this week, he was recognized for his play so far this season with a spot on the Jerry West Award Midseason Top-10 list.

Walter is the only freshman on the list, the latest in a long line of Bears who have appeared on the Jerry West Award Top-10.

🏀 WELCOME BACK, BG!

She was at the heart of the transformation of the BU women’s hoops program and honestly at the heart of the rise of women’s collegiate hoops overall.

Now, her jersey will be hanging from the rafters of Foster Pavilion as Baylor announced that the women’s basketball program will retire former Baylor Bear Brittney Griner’s No. 42 jersey next month.

The special pregame ceremony is set for Sunday, Feb. 18 when the Green & Gold host Texas Tech at 3 p.m.

The most decorated women's basketball player in Baylor history, and one of the most accomplished collegiate players in the NCAA, Griner finished her collegiate career with 3,283 points and 1,305 rebounds. Griner was a two-time consensus National Player of the Year, and four-time All-Big 12 First Team and All-Defensive Team selection. She won the league's Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2010, before sweeping the Player and Defensive Player of the Year Awards in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Baylor's five players on the top-10 list in the last four years are the most in the country. Last season, Adam Flagler and Keyonte George made Baylor the only team in the country with multiple representatives.

Prior to that, Flagler was named to the list in 2022, while Macio Teague was a top-10 candidate during Baylor's title run in 2021.
