From the time she stepped on campus in 2021, Sydney has been an important part of Coach Moore’s lineups, both on the diamond, and in the dugout as an extrovert and a leader.

Now, in her final year in the green and gold, Sydney has embraced every moment with her team, and is looking forward to pursuing a career in the medical field when her time at Baylor is done.

🔺 Feeling SUPER. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no…. it’s SUPER BEARS!

For the first time since 2017, the Baylor softball program is BACK in Super Regionals after a thrilling weekend in Lafayette, La.

The Bears rolled through the first two games of the weekend, before taking on 13th-ranked Louisiana on Super Sunday, taking a heart-stopping 4-3 victory in the winner-take-all game to advance to next weekend’s Super Regionals in Gainesville, Fla.

🔺 Managing The Course. What a year for the Bears.

Playing among the top teams in the country, the Baylor women’s golf team battled all weekend long, finishing 21st at the NCAA Championships on Sunday.

Because of her play in the first three rounds, BaiMai Seema advances to the final rounds of the NCAA Championships as an individual, becoming the fifth player in program history and first since 2022 to play as an individual.

🔺 Welcome To The Fam. The competition at BU women’s hoops practice just ratcheted up even more.

Over the weekend, Coach Collen and the Bears announced the addition of junior college guard Waiata Jennings to the family.

Scoring a program-record 1,227 career points in two years at Collin College, which is located in Plano, Texas, Jennings poured in 718 points in 33 games as a sophomore and also led the team in rebounds (252), blocks (32) and steals (117).

Jennings' 2023-24 NJCAA first-team All-American season saw her average 21.8 points per game in being named the 2024 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Two-Year College Player of the Year and North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) Player of the Year for the second-straight season, along with placements on the All-Region V and All-Conference teams.
