TONIGHT at the Ferrell Center, our Bears, currently ranked #16, will be opening their 2023 home slate by welcoming #18 Rice to Waco.
These two programs have faced off 47 times, dating back to 1978 with Baylor holding a slight 24-23 edge in the head-to-head series.
However, the Bears have owned the series of late, having won 19 of the past 22 showdowns dating back to 1991.

🔺 So Fresh, So Clean. Man, it feels good to be home.
Baylor’s women’s soccer team took a page out of Outkast’s song catalog with a clean sheet, 3-0 win over Louisiana Tech in the Bears home opener on Thursday night.
As they’ve shown for the first three games, the Bears bring a balanced attack to the fold and that was on display once again with three different players finding the back of the net.
With just under two minutes to play in the first half, senior Ashley Merrill took a beautiful feed from freshman Theresa McCullough and scored her second goal of the season and 38th of her collegiate career.
Jenna Patterson and Tyler Isgrig each scored in the second half to secure the 3-0 win for the Green and Gold.
Baylor takes on another Bulldogs squad, this time Butler University, on Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis. Kickoff is set for 12 pm CT.
