🎥 BAYLOR+: CELEBRATING FERRELL
Baylor+ is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of its first original film, "Celebrating Ferrell: 35 Years of Baylor Basketball."
This documentary will take fans on a nostalgic journey through the venue’s most memorable moments, including the building’s first event with Ronald Reagan in 1988, the Baylor women’s basketball team’s run of dominance, sellouts and lots of confetti over the last two decades, and the rebirth of the men’s basketball program under Scott Drew.
Celebrating Ferrell will premiere at 8 p.m. CT on Tuesday, December 19 – exclusively on Baylor+.
The film includes never-before-seen footage plus original interviews with Scott Drew, Nicki Collen, Sophia Young, Pat Nunley, Jerry Hill, John Morris and Lori Fogleman.

🔺 Putting In The Work. All fall, the Green & Gold have put in plenty of work on the field, court, course, arena and other sporting venues across the country.
This week, the Bears have been putting the work in for different tests as student-athletes wrap up the fall semester during finals week.
Finals week is a great opportunity to see how our incredible SACE staff assists student-athletes in putting their best foot forward in the classroom.
Good luck Bears!
🔺 New Family Member. One of best position coaches in the country is joining the Baylor family.
Another new face joined the offensive staff for the Green & Gold as Coach Aranda announced the addition as Chris Kapilovic as the new Offensive Line Coach for the Bears.
Kapilovic comes to Waco after four seasons at Michigan State and his lengthy career includes stops at Colorado, North Carolina, Southern Miss, Missouri State, Alabama State and Kansas.
🔺 Helping Hands. As co-owner of three professional sports teams, Alejandra de la Vega-Foster clearly has a passion for sports.
Alejandra and her husband, Paul (BBA '79), made the largest gift in Baylor's history – a $100 million donation in 2019 that sparked the Give Light campaign, created what's now known as the Foster Academic Challenge and provided significant funding for the Paul and Alejandra Foster Pavilion that becomes the new home for Baylor men's and women's basketball in January 2024.
Recently, they sat down to talk about their passion for giving back and providing helping hands for so many students at Baylor.
A little Christmas shopping inspiration heading into the weekend 😅🎁

Answer: 10th.
Walter ranks 10th among all freshman nationally in scoring. He is one of just three freshman nationally scoring 14.9 ppg and shooting 38-percent or better from long range (Josh Hubbard (Miss. State) & Malik Mack (Harvard))
