🎥 BAYLOR+: TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT!

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the most inspiring underdog stories in college football history, Baylor+ announced today the upcoming premiere of a new original documentary, The Miracle on the Brazos. 

The film tells the complete story of the 1974 Baylor Bears football team under legendary head coach Grant Teaff, who defied all odds to capture their first undisputed conference title in 50 years.  

Predicted to finish last in the Southwest Conference, Baylor dropped its first two games of the 1974 season before the Bears won 8 of their next 9 – including the iconic comeback victory against Texas – en route to an appearance in the Cotton Bowl.

🔼 Southpaw Strong. After missing more than three months with an injury, former Baylor standout and 2023 World Series Champion Cody Bradford has returned with a vengeance.

In his last four starts, Bradford has tossed 24.0 innings in total with a 2.63 ERA with 20 strikeouts and just four walks over that stretch.

One of the most impactful players in recent years wore #4 as Jay Lee
was a part of the most successful five-year span in school history,
including two conference championships, three bowl victories,
and 50 wins in five seasons.

In four seasons in Waco, Lee hauled in 101 receptions,
totaling 1,700 yards and 15 TDs.

In 2016, he was named the recipient of the Bobby Jones Memorial Award, which is presented each year to a senior player for outstanding leadership, sportsmanship, and team play shown during practice for and performance in the Bears’ annual Homecoming football game.
