Good Morning Bear Country. Sometimes, it’s tough to truly put into words the appreciation when someone makes an impactful gesture.

That type of gratitude took over the Green & Gold late last week when Bob Simpson made an impact that will be felt for years to come.

We’ve got details on his generosity and much more in today’s Brew! Check it out below!

🎙 SIC ’EM POD: JASON JENNINGS

Arguably Baylor's best baseball player in school history, Jason Jennings
was a two-time All-American and the first consensus
National Player of the Year in Division I in 1999.

Jennings went on to be a 1st round pick when the Colorado Rockies
took him 16th overall, and had one of the most memorable debuts
in MLB history, pitching a 5-hit shutout while also hitting
his first career home run.

Now, after a successful career in the professional ranks,
Jennings is focused on family, and has found a career in
training the next generation of ball players.

Baylor will recognize Simpson's philanthropic support through the naming of the Bob R. Simpson Performance Center within the Jay and Jenny Allison Development Center at the Paul and Alejandra Foster Pavilion.
