📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Five For Fighting. Sunday marked a first for Coach Collen at Baylor.
It was the first time during her tenure that all five starters reached double-figures in scoring. And BU needed every one of them as the Crimson of Harvard would not go away as the Green & Gold did just enough to come away with an 81-71 win.
The women’s squad improved to 3-0 on the year and made it a perfect combined record of 7-0 for BU hoops.
Leading the balanced scoring attack was Aijha Blackwell, who poured in 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Darianna Littlepage-Buggs finished a rebound shy of a double-double, turning in a season-best 13 points for her first double-digit scoring performance of the season.
Newcomer Jada Walker put on a season-best performance, finishing with 13 points and eight assists.
🔺 Saturday Sweepin’. Nothing like doing some weekend cleaning.
The 23rd-ranked BU volleyball squad did some sweeping around the Ferrell Center on Saturday with a clean 3-0 victory over visiting West Virginia.
It marked the 17th straight win over the Mountaineers for the Bears, who limited WVU to just a .097 hitting percentage, the second-lowest of any opponent all season.
BU was led by Elise McGhee with 13 kills, followed by Kendal Murphy's season-high 9 kill effort. Averi Carlson added 31 assists to her season total and Lauren Briseño secured 8 digs.
The Bears wrap up their regular season slate with one more home match as they host Houston on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
🔺 Tough Road. In the 119th meeting of the Bluebonnet Battle, it was TCU who came out on top.
The Bears made the short trip to take on the Horned Frogs on Saturday, and with 20 minutes left in the game, BU was neck-and-neck with their state rivals.
TCU used a late outburst to pull away and take the victory, 42-17.

Answer: 56.
Edwards arrived in Waco with 53 double-digit scoring performances during her time at UK.
And now she’s a perfect 3-for-3 in that area for the Green & Gold.
