Good Morning Bears Fans. Well, we can’t say they didn’t try to tell us…

All those years ago, Dorothy really was right, there truly is no place like home.

Home is definitely where the heart is for the Baylor women’s hoops squad who returned home in victorious fashion and now are back in action TONIGHT in a HUGE matchup with #7 Kansas State coming to Foster.

What all do we have stirrin’ in today’s abbreviated Brew? Check it out!

🎙 NEW SIC ‘EM POD: SARAH ANDREWS

Every great team needs a leader, and that’s what Sarah Andrews is for Baylor Women’s Basketball.

From the time she was just 4-years-old, to being a top high school recruit in the country, Sarah Andrews has never been afraid of the competition on the court.

Now, in her senior season, Sarah couldn’t be more focused on the task at hand. Sarah Andrews is a winner, a leader, one of the most dangerous scorers in the country, and is the engine that makes Baylor Women’s Basketball go.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Home is where the heart is. Sometimes, they may not be the prettiest, but when you play in the Big 12, any conference win is a big one.

Returning to Foster Pavilion was a huge boost for the BU women’s squad, who bounced back from two tough road losses with a grind-it-out 77-74 win over UCF on Saturday evening.

Sophomore Darianna Littlepage-Buggs was huge for the Green & Gold, finishing 9-of-9 from the field en route to a season-high 24 points. Veteran Sarah Andrews couldn’t find her usual shooting stroke, but finished with a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists on the day.

Dre’Una Edwards added 18 points, five rebounds and three assists for the Bears, who improved to 15-2 on the season.

BU doesn’t have much time to rest as they host #7 Kansas State in a critical Big 12 showdown TONIGHT at Foster.

🔺 Need For Speed. Lightning McQueen has nothing on Nathaniel Ezekiel.

In just the second indoor weekend of the season, Ezekiel blasted onto the scene with a historic performance, breaking an NCAA history in the 600y.

The junior was one of nine Bears to earn a spot on the podium this weekend at the Corky Invitational in Lubbock, Tex.

🔺 Salute To Service. Who’s better at preparation than the country’s Armed Forces? No one is the answer.

The nationally-ranked BU softball squad is now less than three weeks away from kicking off the 2024 season and this past Saturday, the Bears spent the day at Fort Cavazos with the 8th Engineer Battlion.

What an awesome day and opportunity for the Green & Gold to learn from the best!
