📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Hunting Their Tickets. With two former Bears already earning their Olympic tickets, three current BU standouts are looking to join the parade.

This week, Nathaniel Ezekiel, Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi and Imaobong Uko will be competing to represent their home country of Nigeria in the 2024 Olympics at the Nigerian Olympic Trials being hosted at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria from June 16-18, 2024.

🔺 Earning Her Stripes. One of our own has earned her (stars and) stripes.

BU volleyball's starting libero Lauren Briseño has been named to USA Volleyball's Collegiate National Team for a second time.

Briseño, a native of San Antonio, Texas, was chosen as one of 19 of the top U.S. women's collegiate volleyball athletes. This is the rising senior's second time being named to the team, earning her first nod in 2023.

She and the CNT will train June 30-July 6 in Anaheim, Calif., alongside the Olympic Women's Volleyball squad, joining Baylor alum and first-time Olympian Avery Skinner in the gym.

Talk about having a coming out party!
September 29, 2012 - on the road in Morgantown.
Nick Florence etched his name in the Baylor record book.

Florence piled up a school record with 575 total yards in a 70-63 shootout with the Mountaineers. Both his total yards (575) and passing yards (581) still remain as single-game program records for the Bears.

🎟 YOU PICK IT!

This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.

The new “You Pick It” mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.

The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games.

🎙 SIC ‘EM POD: DAROLD WILLIAMSON

During a golden era that established Baylor as "Quartermiler U.,"
Darold Williamson was the anchor leg for 4x400 relay teams that won a combined seven Big 12 titles, 2 national indoor titles, and the
2004 NCAA Outdoor championship.

The summer after his junior season at Baylor, Williamson made the finals
of the 400 at the USA Olympic Trials, and went on to win a gold medal
as the anchor leg in the 4x400 in Athens.

Now, 20 years after his first place finish, Williamson reflects on
an incredible legacy, and gets us ready for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Three.

Langeliers is one of just three Bears with a 20+ HR season in the big leagues. With 22 last year for the A’s, he joined Max Muncy (who has five 20+ HR seasons) and Kelly Shoppach (21 in 2008 withe Cleveland) as the only other former BU standouts to achieve the feat.
