🔼 Kickoff Week. It’s been eight long months. The wait is finally over. Kickoff week is finally here!
That’s right, this Saturday, we’ll be filling in McLane Stadium once again to watch the Bears take the field to officially open the 2024 campaign.
We can’t wait to see y’all!
🔼 Ohana. The Baylor futbol squad used that family mantra to carry themselves to quite a week on the island.
After a thrilling mid-week win over the hosts from Hawaii, the Bears followed it up with another 1-0 nail-biter, this time defeating Portland in neutral site action.
And you guessed it, it was Callie Conrad for the second straight game. The sophomore standout fired one home just before halftime after taking a beautiful pass from Kai Hayes.
Once again, Azul Alvarez was spectacular in net, recording six saves and her second consecutive shutout.
🔼 Here’s Johnny. Well, it didn’t take former Bear Johnny Keefer long to adjust to the pro game.
In just his seventh career start with the PGA Tour Americas, Keefer brought home his first title, firing a final round 67 to claim the top spot at the Manitoba Open by one stroke over the nearest two competitors.
The former BU star has now finished in the top-10 in six of his seven starts.
🔼 Fun In The Sun. Let’s be honest, there’s really never a bad time to visit the Bahamas, right?
The Baylor women’s hoops program will be heading that way once again this November as BU will be one of eight teams participating in this year’s Battle 4 Atlantis event.
The prestigious event has been known as one of the premier earlier season tournaments and this year’s field is no different with North Carolina, Villanova, Indiana, and Texas A&M among the eight-team field.
👏 FUN WITH THE FAM
What an incredible weekend with the fam!
It was great to see so many members of the Baylor family this
past weekend at our Meet The Team event.
We can’t wait to see you at McLane this fall!
Thanks for coming out, Baylor Family! 🐻

🎥 BAYLOR+: COMING SOON!
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the most inspiring underdog stories in college football history, Baylor+ announced today the upcoming premiere of a new original documentary, The Miracle on the Brazos.
The film tells the complete story of the 1974 Baylor Bears football team under legendary head coach Grant Teaff, who defied all odds to capture their first undisputed conference title in 50 years.
Predicted to finish last in the Southwest Conference, Baylor dropped its first two games of the 1974 season before the Bears won 8 of their next 9 – including the iconic comeback victory against Texas – en route to an appearance in the Cotton Bowl.
