Good Morning Baylor Fam. There’s nothing like the Olympics. A time when we sit around the TV and watch in amazement at athletes from around the world accomplishing things that us “regular Joes” could only dream about.

Among that group are plenty of our own and we’ve got an update from Paris for y’all!

And the games are officially underway in Paris!

Former BU star Nuni Omot is already a part of history as his 12-point, six-rebound effort helped South Sudan claim its first-ever Olympic victory on the men’s basketball court, 90-79, on Puerto Rico.

On the other courts, John Peers advanced in men’s tennis doubles action with a 7-6 (5), 6-2 victory to move into round two.

Today, four more Bears make their 2024 Olympic debut!

⚾️ 20/20 VISION

This weekend, former Bear Shea Langeliers joined an exclusive 20/20 club.

With his HR against the Angels on Saturday night, Langeliers reached 20 HRs in a season for the second straight year.

He becomes just the second former Bear all-time to put together back-to-back 20 HR seasons, joining only Max Muncy in that category.

🎟 YOU PICK IT!

This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.

The new “You Pick It” mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.

The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games. 

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 33 DAYS

Number of the Day: 33

In just his first collegiate season, #33 DJ Coleman left his mark on the Baylor football program, playing in the final 11 games of the season last year.

He finished the year ranked as the ninth-highest graded freshmen
safety in power-5 by PFF. This year, the sky’s the limit.
