Well, that could’ve been the title of Thursday’s men’s basketball home opener as well as Langston Love put on a quite a show for thousands of screaming elementary school kids.

Nov. 10th Episode: Previewing Baylor vs Kansas State with Defensive Line Coach Dennis Johnson

The Baylor football team is hitting the road this weekend to take on the Kansas State Wildcats in Manhattan, Kansas.

Join Justin Hoff and Jerry Hill as they preview the matchup, and sit down with Defensive Line Coach Dennis Johnson ahead of Saturday’s game.

🔺 Love and Basketball. Sophomore Langston Love made sure everyone knew that BU had plenty of returning scoring options to go along with all the exciting newcomers.

Love and the Bears opened its 2023-24 home slate less than 48 hours after a thrilling neutral site win over Auburn, by hosting Education Day at Ferrell with thousands of screaming kids helping them push through a 96-70 win over visiting NAIA foe John Brown University on Thursday.

The sophomore guard matched a career-high with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including a perfect 2-of-2 from long range.

Newcomers RayJ Dennis and Jayden Nunn wowed the home crowd, combining for 31 points, with Dennis adding eight assists and six steals for an impressive home debut.

🔺 Fill Up Ferrell. For just the second time in the past few weeks, Baylor fans will have the chance to root on the 20th-ranked volleyball squad with a BIG home weekend in store.

Fans will have the chance to grab plenty of great giveways, while also cheering on the Bears against a gritty TCU squad.

BU will look to continue their strong play having won seven of the past nine contests, only losing Big 12 leading Texas during that stretch.

The Horned Frogs got off to a hot start, but has dropped six of their last seven matches entering tonight’s series opener at Ferrell.

🔺 On The Road Again. Not one, but two streaks will be up for grabs on Saturday when the Bears hit the road to take on the defending Big 12 Champion, Kansas State Wildcats.

Baylor will be looking to win their third straight showdown at K-State as well as trying to stay undefeated on the road in 2023 with two road wins under their belts already.

Kickoff in Manhattan is set for 2 p.m. CST.

Along one of Waco’s most respected drives, 15 minutes from Baylor, 10 minutes from Ridgewood Country Club and Lake Waco, sits this prominent community focal point.

With over 4800 sf feet in total with a fully equipped guest apartment included, on over an acre and a half - this Waco home is incomparable. Set back on the exceptionally large lot and peeking through hundred-year-old live oak trees, visitors are greeted by a distinguished wrought iron tracery and columns framing a southern French style front porch.

As we mentioned, Manhattan has been a friendly visit for the Bears as of late with BU winning two straight matchups at K-State (2021 & 2019).

In fact, in the head-to-head series, Baylor has won eight of the past 11 meetings.

In that 2021 road win, BU leaned on its defense in a hard-fought 20-10 victory.
