🔺 Rock You Like A Hurricane. An early explosion from Jada Walker and another stifling defensive effort and the Baylor women found themselves on the right end of another W this past weekend.
Facing a red-hot and 24th-ranked Miami squad, the Bears drained 10 3-pointers to roll to a 75-57 win in San Antonio to move to a perfect 9-0.
Yet again, the Green & Gold put their balance on display with five in double-figures led by Sarah Andrews, who finished with a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, as well as six assists.
Joining Andrews and Walker (14 points), in double-digits was Bella Fontleroy (13 pts), Yaya Elder (12 pts) and Dree Edwards (10 pts).
🔺 Bon Voyage. A once-in-a-lifetime trip… not too shabby of a Christmas gift, huh?
That’s what the Baylor volleyball program got as the Bears announced they will travel to five different countries in June of 2024 to experience a trip that they’ll never forget.
🔺 Slowed Down In MoTown. MoTown music has a way of slowing you down and relaxing you.
Unfortunately, that’s what the Spartans of Michigan State, a perennial power in the NCAA Tournament each season, did to the red-hot and sixth-ranked Bears in Detroit this weekend as MSU used a strong start to grab a 88-64 win over the Green & Gold.
