On today’s episode we get to know
Baylor Track & Field Head Coach Michael Ford.
The Baylor alum, and former 2-time indoor national champion,
has been instrumental over the past 2 decades in Baylor’s
success on the track, mentoring countless All-Americans,
program record holders, and national champions.
Now, in his 3rd year as Head Coach at his alma mater,
Coach Ford is leading Baylor to nationals, and
is looking forward to an incredible opportunity with
Team USA this summer at the Olympics.
📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Westward Bound. The Bears are headed west!
10 different Baylor track & field standouts are headed to compete at the NCAA Championship meet, hosted by the University of Oregon and set to begin on Wednesday.
ESPN and ESPN2 will cover the meet throughout the week.
🔺 En Fuego. If Dan Patrick was in charge of her highlights, she’d be “en fuego”.
Former BU star NaLyssa Smith is on a roll right now for the Indiana Fever, scoring 57 points in the past three games, pouring in 17+ points in each contest.
Smith has scored in double-figures in seven of Indiana’s 11 games this season and is averaging 11.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest.
🔥 BLACK IN BLACK
This past Thursday, a fourth one entered the mix.
This fall, the Bears are Back in Black.
