đ STOCK UP
đș Nine is Fine. Weâre running out of adjectives to describe this yearâs Baylor menâs basketball team.
Playing a perennial NCAA Tournament team provided a perfect test for the Green & Gold and for the ninth time this year, the Bears passed with a 78-60 win over visiting Seton Hall in the Big 12/Big EAST Challenge.
It was BUâs fourth win over a Power 6 conference team and the 400th all-time at the Ferrell Center.
RayJ Dennis led four Bears in double-figures with a 17 point, seven assist and five rebound performance.
đș Class Act. For the past 13 years, thereâs been a no bigger pillar of stablity and foundation for the Houston Texans than Baylorâs own Jon Weeks.
This week, Weeks earned one of the highest recognitions any NFL player can receive as he was named the Texansâ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
Since joining the Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2010, Weeks has handled every extra point, field goal and punt snap, becoming the longest-tenured player in club history, playing in a franchise record 222 consecutive games.
Throughout his NFL career, Weeks has demonstrated his continued commitment to the community by serving as a sponsor in the Houston Texans Community Huddle Ticket Program, as well as annually visiting Texas Children's to bring Thanksgiving dinner to patients in the hospital's Heart Center with his teammates.
