📈 STOCK UP

🔺 He is A Real (All) American. Talk about a way to debut.

Freshman cornerback Caden Jenkins proved to be a big play specialist in his first season with the Bears and his performance earned the praise nationally as the rook was named a Second-Team Freshman All-American, per The Athletic.

Jenkins burst onto the scene with 37 tackles in 2023 and added three interceptions, three pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. He recorded a personal-best seven tackles in BU's Week 4 contest against Texas and caught the nation's attention a week later with his first-career INT and a 72-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown at UCF.

A product of Lewisville, Texas, Jenkins was Baylor's second-highest graded defensive player this season with a 74.9 rating, per Pro Football Focus.

The Athletic's Freshman All-America teams recognize both true and redshirt freshmen who made the biggest impact for their teams in 2023, prioritizing production and consistency.

🔺 A Part of History. Eight seasons into his NBA career, former Bear Taurean Prince became a part of history over the weekend.

The veteran forward was a part of the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament Championship as his Lakers captured the crown in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Prince played in all seven tournament games for LA, averaging over 28 minutes per contest in that span, with 7.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

🔺 A Hall Call. Make it two new faces on the offensive side for the Green & Gold.

Coach Aranda made a call to Hall, Khenon Hall, that is to become the Associate Head Coach and Running Backs Coach for the Bears in 2024.

One of the top recruiting minds in the state of Texas, Khenon Hall is a Dalls native and product of South Oak Cliff High School. He spent the last two seasons on the staff at SMU as the assistant coach working with running backs, and in 2023 owning that title in addition to run-game coordinator.

Hall previously spent the 2021 season at Texas Southern, which followed seven years at his alma mater, Illinois State (2014-20). He got his start in coaching as a student assistant at Illinois State (2009-10) and as a graduate assistant at New Mexico (2011-12).
