🎙 NEW SIC ‘EM POD: RAYJ DENNIS

Last season, RayJ Dennis blasted onto the national scene at Toledo, leading the Rockets to a third straight MAC Championship and earning the eyes from around the country.

Waco is Dennis’ third collegiate stop after starting at Boise State and moving to Toledo. The Plainfield, Illinois native has plenty of experience and has shown it through his floor presence with the Bears.

Dennis joins the Sic ‘Em pod this week to go in-depth about his basketball journey, life away from the court and what’s most important to him in life.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Sunday Glass Cleaning. The BU women’s team decided to do some Sunday cleaning on the road.

Led by Aijha Blackwell’s 19 rebounds, the Bears cleaned the glass all day long en route to a 72-60 road victory at Oklahoma State. BU finished the game outrebounding the Cowgirls, 45-29.

Dre'Una Edwards scored 11 of her team-high 16 points in the first half, while sophomores Bella Fontleroy and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs had 11 points apiece in the second half to lead BU to their second conference road win.

🔺 Down Go The Dogs. That’s how you start the spring!

The BU equestrian squad opened its spring campaign in BIG fashion, upsetting #5 Georgia on Saturday in Waco, 11-8.

Setting the tone early, the Bears rode a dominant Jumping Seat performance to the big win.

🔺 Desert Split. The BU men’s tennis program continues to show it can play with some of the best teams in the country.

A weekend in the desert resulted in a split for Bears, who reached the Round of 32 of ITA Kickoff Weekend, but dropped a 4-2 to the wire decision to 12th-ranked Arizona.

On Saturday, the Green & Gold blew past Tulane, 4-1, to advance to Sunday’s date with the Wildcats, in which BU pushed Arizona to three sets in four different singles matches, but the home team was able to come away with the win.
