📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Over The Rainbow. It was a defensive battle from the start for the Baylor women’s soccer team in its opener at the Outrigger Invitational.
Azul Alvarez’s seven saves and a late Callie Conrad goal was all the Bears needed as BU fought their way to a 1-0 win over the host team, Hawaii.
A strong Baylor back line and Alvarez’s play in goal held the Rainbow Wahine scoreless until Conrad took a pass from Tyler Isgrig and fired one home in the 73rd minute to score the game’s only goal.
🔼 Collect Four. With just over a week before kickoff of the 2024 season, a quartet of veteran Bears received recognition this week.
Baylor seniors Monaray Baldwin, Dequan Finn, Steve Linton and Garmon Randolph were named to the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List.
🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 9 DAYS
Number of the Day: 9
New number, same mission.
One of the most experienced members of the Baylor defensive line
will be donning a new number this fall as Treven Ma’ae
shed his #48 to move to #9.
Entering the 2024 season, Ma’ae has played in 41 collegiate games,
including all 12 last year for the Bears, his first in Waco. He has
49 career tackles, 3.5 sacks and 6.5 TFLs. This year, he’s ready
to take that to the next level.

🎥 BAYLOR+: COMING SOON….
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the most inspiring underdog stories in college football history, Baylor+ announced today the upcoming premiere of a new original documentary, The Miracle on the Brazos.
The film tells the complete story of the 1974 Baylor Bears football team under legendary head coach Grant Teaff, who defied all odds to capture their first undisputed conference title in 50 years.
Predicted to finish last in the Southwest Conference, Baylor dropped its first two games of the 1974 season before the Bears won 8 of their next 9 – including the iconic comeback victory against Texas – en route to an appearance in the Cotton Bowl.
