š SIC āEM POD: KETRON JACKSON
On this weekās episode, weāre catching up with Baylor Football
wide receiver Ketron Jackson.
Last year for the Bears, the Royse City native was a pivotal part of Baylorās downfield attack and provided plenty of big plays and exciting catches.
Now, in his senior season, Jackson is looking forward to a revamped offense, and playing a key role in this yearās on field success.
š» BEARS IN PARIS
It was a GOLDEN weekend for the Bears with former BU star John Peers bringing home the top prize in Paris in the menās doubles competition.
Peers and his doubles partner, Matthew Ebden, claimed gold with a thrilling 7-6 (6), 7-6 (1), 10-8 in the Olympics final on Saturday morning.
In addition, Avery Skinner and the Team USA volleyball squad advanced to the Olympic quarterfinal, while Britney Griner and the American womenās hoops squad also advanced to the quarterfinal with a rout of Germany on Sunday morning.
š STOCK UP
š¼ Campinā. The Baylor football team is rolling through camp getting ready for the upcoming 2024 season.
Weāve got a few camp check-ins through the first few days on the gridiron.
š¼ A Hall Call. It was a special weekend for another former Baylor star as Mark Saccomanno, who was a standout with the baseball prorgram from 1999-2003, was inducted in the Round Rock Express Hall of Fame.
Saccomanno is just the 10th member of the organizationās prestigious Hall of Fame, as the former Bear was selected in the 23rd round of the 2003 MLB draft and reached Round Rock in 2007.
Saccomanno appeared in 131 games in 2007 and hit .277 with 22 home runs and 85 RBI. The right-hander returned to the Express in 2008 and slashed .297/.339/.521 in 137 games while leading the club in hits (157), home runs (27) and runs scored (83).

This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.
The new āYou Pick Itā mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.
The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games.

this fall after suffering a season-ending injury last season that kept
him out for most of the year.
Grimes has been Baylorās primary longsnapper for two straight seasons.

Well, Bear Country, itās finally here.
Fall camp is officially underway for the Baylor football program and to get yāall ready, Baylor+ has exclusive sitdowns with offensive coordinator and QBs coach Jake Spavital and defensive coordinator Matt Powledge.
Both coaches breaks down their expectations for the upcoming year, talks about how they want their side of the ball to operate and much, much more.
