🔺 High (After)Noon Showdown. After a nine-day hiatus, the Bears are jumping right into the deep end with conference play kicking off in a big way.

Entering conference play, there are only 10 women’s team in the country that remain undefeated and two of them will be taking the court on Saturday at 1 p.m in Austin as the 10th-ranked Bears battle #5 Texas.

🔺 Still Shining. Last season, NaLyssa Smith shined for the Indiana Fever en route to WNBA All-Rookie accolades.

With the 2023 WNBA season concluded, Smith hit the airways and is working overseas and that star is still shining bright.

The former Bear earned EuroCup Women Player of the Month honors for December, averaging 28.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 1.0 assists per game for Galatasaray Basketbol in Turkey.
