After making a run to the NCAA Sweet 16 last fall, a young, hungry Baylor squad opens up with quite a test facing off against national powers Wisconsin and Minnesota at the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge, starting tonight in Minneapolis.

The Bears are hunting a seventh-straight 20+ win season when first serve is sent at 4:30 p.m. CST today.

The Big 10 Network will be covering all the action all weekend long.

Gear Up, Baylor Fam! The brand new This is Bear Country Game Day Collection was unveiled this week, and we’ve got something for everyone!

The entire collection is available NOW!

Baylor Athletics is warmly welcoming both dedicated fans and newcomers alike to the heart of Texas this fall. In anticipation of a football season featuring eight home games and exciting new Conference matchups, the University has collaborated with the Baylor Bookstore to unveil this limited collection celebrating Baylor Game Days in Bear Country.

Many items from The Collection will also be available this weekend at “Meet The Bears” on Saturday at McLane.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 8 DAYS

But 3 different times the Bears defense racked up 8️⃣ TFLs in a game last fall.

The first game against Texas State, followed the next week on the road at Iowa State and a few weeks later on the road at Texas Tech.

All three games, Baylor’s defense swarmed the opposing backfields, with exactly 8️⃣ TFLs in each of those games for a total of 104 yards lost for the opposition. 12 of those 24 TFLs came via sacks, including a season-high six against the Red Raiders.

Baylor would outscore those three opponents by a combined total of 118-48.

Earning Their Rank. As mentioned above, this weekend will be a true test for the Baylor volleyball program.

With no seniors on the Bears 2023 roster, a young squad will be facing two top-10 opponents this weekend with #2 Wisconsin tonight and #7 Minnesota tomorrow.
