🔼 A Waco Weekend. Nothing like kicking off fall campus weekends with a BANG!
We’ve got not one, not two, but 3️⃣ teams in action this weekend in Waco!
Our volleyball squad gets their season started today with the Baylor Classic, taking on Abilene Christian (11 am) and Tulsa (7:30 pm) at the Ferrell Center.
The red-hot women’s soccer team takes on a tall task against perennial national power Texas A&M at Betty Lou tonight at 8 pm.
All of that sets the stage for the football squad kicking off their 2024 season tomorrow evening at 6 pm.
🔼 Fun In The Sun. This November, the Baylor women’s hoops squad is looking to enjoy a little fun in the sun, and even more importantly, a little fun on the court.
This week, the Bears learned their opening-round matchup at the upcoming Battle 4 Atlantis event with a Nov. 23rd meeting with Southern Miss on the docket.
Kicking off the event, the Bears' game against the Lady Eagles is one of four in the first round, with Indiana vs. Columbia, North Carolina vs. Ball State and Texas A&M vs. Villanova. With a win on Saturday, Baylor would advance to play the winner of the Indiana and Columbia contest.
In just its fourth edition for women's basketball, the 2024 Battle 4 Atlantis will feature Baylor for the first time, with the program's 13-0 all-time record outside of the United States.
On the island, Baylor has been undefeated in four tournaments: the Junkanoo Jam in 2006, 2015 and 2017 and the Sunsplash Shootout in 2010.

🎥 BAYLOR+: THE MIRACLE
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the most inspiring underdog stories in college football history, Baylor+ announced today the upcoming premiere of a new original documentary, The Miracle on the Brazos.
The film tells the complete story of the 1974 Baylor Bears football team under legendary head coach Grant Teaff, who defied all odds to capture their first undisputed conference title in 50 years.
Predicted to finish last in the Southwest Conference, Baylor dropped its first two games of the 1974 season before the Bears won 8 of their next 9 – including the iconic comeback victory against Texas – en route to an appearance in the Cotton Bowl.
