🔺 We See You Rook. Facing a top-25 team as a freshman?
No problem for Mason Green.
The Cypress, Texas native tossed six shutout innings in BU’s series-clinching 7-2 defeat of #23 Texas Tech on Sunday. For his performance, he was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
Green recorded 14 of his 18 outs in four pitches or fewer and never faced more than four Red Raiders in an inning. In just the second start of his college career, Green's six innings were the most thrown by a Baylor starting pitcher so far in 2024.
🔺 Heating Up. The temps aren’t the only thing heating up… so is our guy Keyonte.
The former BU star was already having an electric debut season in the NBA. Now, he’s taking it to another level.
in the Jazz’s last five games, George has four 25+ point outings and is averaging 22 points, 4.4 assists and 43-percent from long range.

That’s what the BU women’s golf squad enjoyed, but for the Bears… it was all business.
Competing at the Florida State Match Up in Tallahassee, BU grabbed a fourth-place overall finish behind the heels of top-10 finishes from Rosie Belsham (second overall) and Sera Hasegawa (sixth overall).
🏀 TOURNEY TIME
Once again, the Baylor men’s and women’s teams are headed to the Big Dance with action kicking off this Friday for both squads.
BU fans, you’ll get a full Friday of action with the men’s team tipping off at 11:40 am for a nice brunch, followed later for an evening tip for the women’s squad who hit the floor in Blacksburg at 5 pm CST.
