🎾 ACADEMIC ACES
All spring long, the Baylor men’s tennis team dished out plenty of aces.
Those aces weren’t just on the court as the Bears dominated the classroom and this week, they were recognized for that hard work with six ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Justin Braverman, Christopher Frantzen, Marko Miladinović, Ethan Muza, Tadeas Paroulek and Arman Zamani were all honored.
This marks Frantzen's fifth consecutive year with the award while Braverman and Miladinović made their third straight appearance on the list. Paroulek and Zamani both also earned the honor for back-to-back years.
As a team, the Bears earned the ITA All-Academic Team honor for the 18th time in program history.

The men’s squad wasn’t the only one to garner recognition as the women’s team also earned the ITA All-Academic Team distinction and 7️⃣ members of the program were all honored.
Baylor's Danielle Tuhten, Isabella Harvison, Lindsay Patton, Miska Kadleckova, Sierra Berry, Zuzanna Frankowska and Zuzanna Kubacha received Scholar-Athlete nods.
The 2024 list marks the third appearance for Harvison and Kadleckova and the second for Berry, while all other Bears made their first career appearances.
🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 38 DAYS

Number of the Day: 38
The year: 1981
The team: The Chicago Bears
The Draft Pick: #38
That selection was one of the greatest players in Baylor history
and would become and NFL Hall of Famer for those Chicago Bears.
That selection? Mike Singletary, of course.
After an All-American career in Waco, “Da Bears” picked selected
Singletary and he would turn into a NFL starter just seven games
into his professional career.
🎟 YOU PICK IT!
This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.
The new “You Pick It” mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.
The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games.
🎙 SIC ’EM POD: BAYLEY HUMPHREY (PT. II)
On this week’s episode, John Morris is handing off the mic to
Baylor Athletics’ Justin Hoff, who recently caught up with
Acrobatics & Tumbling’s Bayley Humphrey.
The new Baylor graduate is fresh off of a 4th straight
national championship, and is getting us up to speed on an
incredibly busy summer and life after college.
🙌 OLYMPIC BEARS
At least one Baylor Bear has brought home the gold in seven of
the last eight Summer Olympics. What do you say we make it
eight of the past nine?
Seven different Bears will look to extend that run at the
2024 Olympics in Paris, which kicks off this weekend.
Those Bears will be representing four different nations: Brittney Griner (basketball) and Avery Skinner (volleyball) for Team USA; current Baylor student-athletes Nathaniel Ezekiel (400m hurdles) and Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi (javelin) in track & field for Nigeria; John Peers (men’s tennis – doubles) and Kristy Wallace (basketball) for Australia; and Nuni Omot (basketball) for South Sudan. Baylor track and field head coach Michael Ford will also be in Paris as men’s sprints/hurdles coach for Team USA.
