TGIF Baylor Fam. While millions of children around the world will be hunting Easter eggs, the Baylor women’s basketball team will be on a hunt of their own.
The Bears have arrived in Portland and are locked and loaded to take on top-seeded USC on Saturday afternoon.
A victory would be much sweeter than any chocolate bunny.

There will be plenty of sweets devoured around the world this weekend.
But the Baylor women’s hoops squad is enjoying something even sweeter.
The 2023-24 season continues for the Bears as BU has arrived in Portland to make its final preparations for Saturday’s showdown with top-seeded USC and one of the nation’s best players in JuJu Watkins.
What a week it’s been and there’s no better way to get you prepared than reliving the past week for the Green & Gold.

So are we ... but we're not talking about all the Easter candy everywhere. We're talking about Baylor women's basketball advancing to the Sweet 16!

🔺 Play Ball! There’s nothing like Opening Day!
All those memories of playing in the backyard with friends and acting out your dreams was reality for four former Bears, who once again stepped onto big league fields and enjoyed Opening Day 2024.
Max Muncy (Dodgers), Cody Bradford (Rangers), Shea Langeliers (A’s) and Nick Loftin (Royals) all earned a spot on MLB Opening Day rosters.
🔺 Ridin’ With RyLee. After playing six of their past seven games on the road, the Baylor softball squad was happy to be back at home on Thursday night.
And it showed.
BU jumped on the back of RyLee Crandall en route to a 6-0 victory over Iowa State to kick off the three-game series.
Crandall allowed just one hit in a complete game effort. She struck out nine Cyclones
Offensively, freshman Leah Cran led the 11-hit attack with a 3-for-3 night, including two doubles, while scoring two runs and collecting an RBI.
🔺 Champ Week! This weekend, the Baylor equestrian squad will gladly trade their chocolate bunnies for a trophy.
It’s Championship Week for the Bears as they are set to host the 2024 Big 12 Championship starting TODAY in Waco.
BU will face top-seeded and No. 1-ranked TCU on Friday at 10 a.m., while Oklahoma State squares off against Fresno State simultaneously.

🎙 SIC ’EM POD: PAYTON WASHINGTON
On this week’s episode we’re joined by a freshman on Baylor’s Acrobatics and Tumbling team, Payton Washington.
After having an incredible high school career of competitive cheerleading, Baylor A&T was ecstatic to have the Round Rock native coming to campus. But then the unthinkable happened. Payton was shot not once, not twice, but 3 times.
Now, after making a full recovery from the incident, Payton is quickly making a name for herself at the collegiate level, and contributing to the #1 ranked team in the country.

🎉 CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES
Long ago, Kool & The Gang taught us to Celebrate Good Times and on Nov. 2nd, Baylor will do exactly that.
A pair of 11-2 and Big 12 Conference Championship teams will be celebrated during the upcoming 2024 Baylor Football season, as the Bears plan to recognize student-athletes from the 2013 and 2014 teams.
On Nov. 2 when Baylor plays TCU at McLane Stadium, the program will commemorate the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Conference Championship teams.
