🎙 SIC ‘EM POD: CADEN JENKINS

On today’s episode we get to know Baylor Football’s Caden Jenkins.

The rising star and freshman All-American out of
Lewisville, Texas played in all 12 games for the Bears last season,
and ranked among the nation’s best first-year defensive players
in a multitude of categories.

Now, after deciding to stay at Baylor and build on
last year’s incredible campaign, Caden is looking to elevate
his game and be a cornerstone for Coach Aranda’s defensive unit.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 81 DAYS

Number of the Day: (6)81.

Ok, ok, we bent the rules a little bit, but 681 points
is the single-season program record set by
the 2013 squad. You may remember those guys.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Texan Trio. It may be a few months away, but even before the 2024 season kicks off, a trio of Bears were recognized this week.

Sophomore cornerback Caden Jenkins was one of three BU standouts who garnered preseason recognition from Dave Campbell's Texas Football. Jenkins was named to the DCTF All-Texas First Team, while senior offensive lineman Campbell Barrington and sixth-year senior linebacker Matt Jones earned spots on the Second Team.

🏈: More On The Award-Winning Trio

🔺 Bears At Work. While most of their college student brethren are hitting the beach or enjoying vacations, the Baylor women’s hoops squad returned to the hardwood and got to work to prep for the 2024-25 season.

What a trip its been so far and they’re not done yet!

The Baylor volleyball squad is on the last few days of an incredible 10-day European tour.

🎟 YOU PICK IT!

This week, Baylor Athletics unveiled a new Mini Plan option for the upcoming 2024 Football season.

The new “You Pick It” mini plan offers flexibility and allows fans to build their own mini-plan from three tiers of options to enjoy McLane Stadium this fall.

The Baylor Family can purchase the You Pick It mini plan for $225. Each plan includes the Bears' Homecoming Game on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State and from there fans can build their plan based on their schedule for the remaining two games. 

🎥 BAYLOR+: A RUN TO REMEMBER

It was a postseason run that we won’t forget for a long time.

The Baylor softball team flexed their muscles when it counted the most and took us a run to Super Regionals that Baylor+ takes us inside in the latest episode of Baylor Access.

🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA

The NBA Finals are in full swing and that got us thinking.

Of the 27 former Bears that have played in the NBA, how many have raised the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy?
