Women’s Basketball at Baylor University has seen tremendous success over the years, and thanks to Head Coach Nicki Collen, it feels as if that level of success is going to continue for a long time.

In her first 2 years at Baylor, Coach Nicki has led the program to back-to-back 20-plus win seasons, back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances, and already has a BIG12 title under her belt. Now, in year 3, all of the pieces are coming together.

She is a mother, a former WNBA coach of the year, a relentless competitor, and is proud to be the head women’s basketball coach at Baylor University.

🔺 Tuesday Night Tussle. Two teams at 12-2. Two teams in the top-20.

Foster Pavilion is going to host a bunch of high profile matchups and tonight is one of them as 18th-ranked BYU visits Waco for the first-ever Big 12 showdown between the two programs.

It’s the 11th all-time meeting between the two, but first as conference foes. The last time these two met was in the 2013 NIT Semifinals with the Bears pulling out a thrilling 76-70 win at Madison Square Garden.

Baylor has used its offense to propel them to a 12-2 start, entering tonight’s matchup leading the country in 3-point shooting (43.2-percent), fourth in offensive efficiency (122.2) and seventh in points per game (88.1).

🔺 Climbing the Charts. Coming off an unbeaten weekend, the Baylor hoops teams climbed the polls this week.

The undefeated women’s squad moved into the top-5 for the first time this season at #4, while the men moved up four spots to #14.

Baylor and UConn are the only schools in the country with both teams ranked in the top-15 nationally.

Waco is hosting the “Eclipse Over Texas: Live From Waco” experience on April 8, 2024.

Waco is one of the best places to view the 2024 eclipse with over four minutes of totality.

The event will have telescopes, educational activities, programs, food trucks, and so much family fun! You won’t want to miss this one!

Sophomore guard Langston Love joins the show to discuss his big game on Saturday against Oklahoma State and tells us what it’s like to play in The Foster. Plus, ESPN’s Chris Spatola stops by to preview tonight’s matchup.

In Baylor’s overtime win at Oklahoma State on Saturday, freshman sensation Yves Missi posted his fourth double-double of the season.

The four double-doubles by Missi are the most by a Bear in a single-season since 2019-20.
