🎥 BAYLOR+: ON CAMPUS WITH ELLIOT

With spring ball well underway in Waco, Baylor+ is excited to unveil a brand new series that takes BU fans behind the scenes and gives an inside scoop on some of the newest faces in the Baylor football program.

Throughout the next few weeks, former Bear Elliot Coffey will sit down with the newest players and coaches wearing Green & Gold this spring.

And They Keep Going and Going and Going…

On today’s show we recap this past weekend in Baylor Athletics,
including Acrobatics & Tumbling's big win over Oregon to complete an undefeated regular season, and look ahead to another busy
spring weekend coming up for your Baylor Bears.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺  Save The Date. Coming off yet another trip to the NCAA Tournament last season and an absolutely loaded returning roster, the Baylor volleyball team is set for a big fall ahead.

That journey now has a schedule to go along with it as the Bears recently announced its full 2024 slate, which includes 19 home matches at the Ferrell Center.

🔺 The Home Stretch. We are under two weeks away from the Big 12 Championship and there’s no better place for the Baylor women’s tennis team to prepare for that than right at home.

This afternoon kicks off a three-match home stand for the Bears as they head into Big 12 Tourney play later this month in Stillwater.

First serve this afternoon at Hurd Tennis Center against SMU is slated for 5 pm.

🎙 SIC ’EM POD: ALEXIS BROWN

On this week’s episode we’re joined by Baylor Track & Field’s Alexis Brown. 

The 2024 Indoor All-American is in the midst of an incredible senior year for the Bears, but getting to this point in her career has not come without some challenges. 

Now, Alexis is fully healthy and at her best, and is continuing to strive for excellence.

🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA

Former Bear Davis Wendzel received some BIG news on Monday when he was called up to the Big Leagues by the Texas Rangers!

A third-team All-American and Big 12 Player of the Week in 2019, hit .367 in 46 games as a junior with eight home runs and 42 RBIs on his way to a trio of third-team All-America honors. He finished his collegiate career as a three-time All-Big 12 performer after hitting .301 with eight home runs and 30 driven in as a freshman in 2017, and batting .310 with eight home runs and 49 RBIs in his 2018 sophomore season. Wendzel remains Baylor's career leader in on-base percentage during Big 12 play with a .464 clip.

🎉 CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES

Long ago, Kool & The Gang taught us to Celebrate Good Times and on Nov. 2nd, Baylor will do exactly that.

A pair of 11-2 and Big 12 Conference Championship teams will be celebrated during the upcoming 2024 Baylor Football season, as the Bears plan to recognize student-athletes from the 2013 and 2014 teams. 

On Nov. 2 when Baylor plays TCU at McLane Stadium, the program will commemorate the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Conference Championship teams.
