On Sunday we saw both the beauty and the darkness of March
as the Baylor women dance on and the Baylor men head home.

In the span of about six hours, Baylor fans experienced the highs and lows of the NCAA Tournament.

A tough loss in Memphis was followed by an absolute thriller in Blacksburg.

As one of the few schools with not one, but ✌️ teams reach the Round of 32, Baylor’s hoops season will always be one to remember.

🔺 Seventh Heaven. It had been two years, so the top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling squad figured it was time.

The Bears showed off on their trip to South Dakota, picking up their seventh win of the seasons with a 281.600 to 269.355 victory over Augustana.

The last time BU had a team event score 100 points or more was in 2023, while the last time Baylor had a final score of 280 or more was in 2022.

With the win, BU increased its winning streak to 34 meets, dating back to March 27, 2021.

🔺 Seven Up! Never a bad day when you can take home seven wins.

That’s what the Baylor track & field squad put together this weekend in the first of three home meets this spring.

On the weekend, the Bears tabbed seven overall event wins with two additional collegiate victories on the second day of competition.

🔺 Never Say Die. We’ll tell you what, no one can ever question the heart of the Baylor women’s tennis squad.

After taking down Iowa State on Friday, the Bears found themselves down 3-0 to Kansas on Sunday looking for a weekend sweep.

That’s when the heart took over.

Four straight victories on the singles court gave BU a thrilling 4-3 win and a weekend Big 12 sweep.

🎉 CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES

Long ago, Kool & The Gang taught us to Celebrate Good Times and on Nov. 2nd, Baylor will do exactly that.

A pair of 11-2 and Big 12 Conference Championship teams will be celebrated during the upcoming 2024 Baylor Football season, as the Bears plan to recognize student-athletes from the 2013 and 2014 teams. 

On Nov. 2 when Baylor plays TCU at McLane Stadium, the program will commemorate the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Conference Championship teams. 

🎙 SIC ’EM POD: PAYTON WASHINGTON

On this week’s episode we’re joined by a freshman on Baylor’s Acrobatics and Tumbling team, Payton Washington.

After having an incredible high school career of competitive cheerleading, Baylor A&T was ecstatic to have the Round Rock native coming to campus. But then the unthinkable happened. Payton was shot not once, not twice, but 3 times.

Now, after making a full recovery from the incident, Payton is quickly making a name for herself at the collegiate level, and contributing to the #1 ranked team in the country.

With its thrilling win on Sunday evening, the Baylor women’s squad is making its 16th trip to the Sweet 16 in 22 NCAA Tournaments.
