🏈 MORNINGS AT MCLANE

Eggs, Sausage, Pancakes, Cornhole and Bears Football.

Not a bad way to kickoff your Saturday!

For the first time in program history, Baylor will be welcoming Long Island University to campus for a third straight home game.

The Bears defensive unit will look to stay strong after going toe-to-toe with No. 12 Utah’s offense this past weekend. BU’s defense has had three sacks and six TFLs in each of the first two games of the season.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 We Got What You Neeeed. 5️⃣1️⃣.

That’s how many days until the BU women’s hoops squad takes the court for the 2023-24 season opener and now we’ve got exactly what you need, the full slate of non-conference games.

SEVEN home games highlighted what is sure to be another exciting season of Bears hoops.

🔺 White Hot. Don’t worry, we know laundry day isn’t for a little bit.

Gold out was last night at Betty Lou, tonight? Toss on the white and let’s bleach the stands of Ferrell for a white out against the 19th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.

BU’s volleyball team is hosting its second straight top-20 opponent and will look to ride the hot streak of freshman sensation Kyndal Stowers in what is sure to be a hotly-contested showdown.

Ferrell Center. 7 pm. Be There.

🔺 Sneak Peek. Not much motivation on this Friday morning?

Take a break (check with your boss first of course) and head over to the Willis Family Equestrian Center and check out the annual Green and Gold Scrimmage this morning at 10 a.m.

The meet is free and open to the public. Fans will get their first chance to see the 2023-24 roster in action, which includes 18 freshmen, 20 sophomores, 13 juniors, seven seniors and three fifth-year seniors.

🔺 Battling The Horns. Baylor’s futbol team gave the 16th-ranked Texas Longhorns all they could handle for the first 50 minutes on Thursday night, but the Horns used a late surge to come away with the 4-0 victory at Betty Lou. Sophomore keeper Ashlee Zirkel had a career-high nine saves, six of which came in the first half, but UT was granted a penalty kick in the 55th minute that swung momentum in their favor for the rest of the night.

BU will host UTSA on Sunday night at 6 pm in its non-conference finale.
