Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship here in Waco
and the Big 12 Softball Championship in OKC!

🔺 Ticket = Punched. Back-to-back days to start the NCAA Regional, the Baylor women’s golf team used a strong second nine to stay in contention for a fourth straight NCAA Championships bid.
In the third and final round, the Bears didn’t make anyone wait.
BU fired the lowest score of any team in the third and final round to climb two spots to third overall to claim yet another trip to the NCAA Championships. It is the sixth trip in the past seven years for the Green & Gold.
Freshman Ashleen Kaur carded the best final round school of any player at the event with a 3-under 69 to finish tied for fourth overall with teammate Sera Hasegawa.
🔺 Three Of A Kind. Hopefully they packed a big enough suitcase!
Even before the Baylor softball squad hits the field in OKC for the Big 12 Tournament, three Bears already hauled in some hardware.
For the second straight season, Shaylon Govan was named All-Big 12 First Team and this year, Aliyah Binford and Emily Hott joined the accolade party, earning spots on the All-Big 12 Second Team.
This marks the third-straight season the Bears have had three or more earn Big 12 postseason honors.
🔺 Showtime. Not only is the Big 12 Softball Tournament underway in OKC, the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship kicks off today, right here in Waco.
Both the men’s and women’s squads have been ranked among the nation’s best this spring season and hope to make noise at this weekend’s championships.
🎙 SIC ‘EM POD: ROSIE BELSHAM
On today’s episode, we’re joined by Baylor
women’s golf senior Rosie Belsham.
A native of Whitley Bay, England, Rosie grew up playing
field hockey and golf, but ultimately stuck with the latter
after winning tournaments and rising up the youth ranks overseas.
Rosie has found a home away from home here in Waco,
and has turned her time at Baylor into multiple All-Big 12
team selections, and has quickly become one of the
best athletes in Baylor women’s golf history.
🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA
Ashleen Kaur and Sera Hasegawa became the second set of BU teammates to finish top-five in a regional in the past three years.

🎉 CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES
Long ago, Kool & The Gang taught us to Celebrate Good Times and on Nov. 2nd, Baylor will do exactly that.
A pair of 11-2 and Big 12 Conference Championship teams will be celebrated during the upcoming 2024 Baylor Football season, as the Bears plan to recognize student-athletes from the 2013 and 2014 teams.
On Nov. 2 when Baylor plays TCU at McLane Stadium, the program will commemorate the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Conference Championship teams.
