On today’s show, the voice of Baylor women’s basketball Derek Smith stops by! Derek will give his thoughts on this year’s Baylor women’s basketball team, we’ll ask him about the final regular season game coming up at the Ferrell and talk Foster Pavilion as well. 

Plus it’s final exam week for our student-athletes. We will highlight and shine light on the team behind the team with our SACE squad.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Oh What A Night. Last week, we highlighted Keyonte’s dishing ability.

The first year NBA star and former Bear made sure to remind all of us of his ability to pour it in himself last night with a 3️⃣0️⃣ point outing against the OKC Thunder.

George finished with 30 points, seven assists, three rebounds and a steal. He went 10-of-17 from the field, including five 3-pointers.

🔺 The Stretch Run. As the NFL season enters its final few weeks, a slew of former Bears are in the playoff picture with their pro squads.

Veteran Xavien Howard had a three pass deflection night on Monday Night Football for the Dolphins, who currently hold the second seed in the AFC at 9-4 on the season.

Ross Matiscik and the Jaguars hold the fourth spot currently at 8-5 and leading the AFC South. Ben Sims and the Packers have rallied over the past few weeks and are holding the seventh and final spot in the NFC playoff picture.

Terrel Bernard (Bills), Jalen Pitre/Jon Weeks (Texans) and Andrew Billings (Bears) all find themselves just one game out of the playoff mix with their respective teams.

🔺 Poll Position. The Bears enter week 6️⃣ as the only school in the country with ✌️ top-10 basketball teams.

With the latest national polls released on Monday, both the men’s squad (#6) and the women’s squad (#10) held their respective spots and will return to the court this week with marquee matchups on the docket.

🔺 A Dream Come True. Living out your childhood dreams isn’t something that everyone gets to do.

However, former Baylor All-American Constantin Frantzen will have that opportunity next month when he hits the court at the Australian open in Melbourne.

The former Bear will team up with fellow German Hendrik Jebens and compete in his first-ever Grand Slam event.
