🔼 Home Sweet Home. Two home games. Zero TDs allowed. Not sure about y’all, but we think that’s pretty good.

The ‘Black Ops’ unis provided all the defense that Baylor needed en route to a decisive 31-3 victory over Air Force at McLane Stadium on Saturday night.

After a tight first half, the Bears came out of the locker room with a jolt, scoring twice in the first seven minutes, including the first TD run and 100-yard game from redshirt freshman Bryson Washington.

Matt Jones (11 tackles) and Devyn Bobby (nine tackles) led a defensive effort that limited Air Force to just 25 passing yards, the fewest allowed by a Baylor team since 1989.

🔼 Sunday Sweepin’. They call it home-court advantage for a reason.

The Baylor volleyball squad defended its home turf on Sunday with a little afternoon sweep of visiting Samford, 3-0, to earn their fifth sweep of the season.

Allie Sczech led the team with 10 kills, while Ava Grace Haggard and Harley Kreck each achieved their first service ace. The Bears held the Bulldogs to a .102 hitting percentage, opening Baylor and Samford's all-time series 1-0.

🔼 The Waiting Game. You know that “have patience, have patience” song we heard from our parents growing up?

Well, it appears the Baylor futbol squad learned from it as they had to wait out a two-and-a-half hour weather delay before taking the field on Sunday night.

After play finally got started, the Bears fought their way to a 2-2 tie with visiting Texas State as they head into play with a 5-3-1 ledger on the season.

Kai Hayes scored her first collegiate goal, while Tyler Isgrig found the back of the net for the team-leading third time this fall.
