📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Spreading the Love. We’re running out of adjectives to use for this year’s Baylor’s women’s squad.

Saturday, the Bears put on another stellar display in front of the Foster faithful as they moved to 14-0 with a 87-58 win over Houston in Big 12 play. Baylor is now just one of three undefeated teams left in the country (UCLA, South Carolina).

Aijha Blackwell came off the bench for her third double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Dree Edwards was spectacular with 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

In the victory, YaYa Felder joined the 1,000 collegiate point club with her free-throw in the fourth quarter.

🔺 Opening Act. When it comes to conference play, a lot of the time it’s just about finding a way to grind out a win.

On Saturday, that’s exactly what the Baylor men’s hoops squad had to do in a 75-70 overtime victory over Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

The nation’s leader in 3-point shooting percentage couldn’t get them to drop against the Cowboys, but the Bears did just enough to move to 12-2 on the year.

Freshman Yves Missi recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points, 10 rebounds and three steals, while RayJ Dennis had a rare four-point, game-tying play late in regulation and finished with 18 points, four assists and five rebounds.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: 5.

With Felder reaching the milestone in Saturday’s win, Baylor became the only program in the country with five 1,000-point scorers.

The Bears' other four players who have topped 1,000 career points are Sarah Andrews, Edwards, Blackwell and Belmont transfer Madison Bartley.
